Brief: Anna needed a website that reflected of her friendly, welcoming and accessible approach to Pilates lessons, which take place in her well-equipped but intimate, neighbourhood studio - a converted garage next to her own home. She also wanted a simple, easy to manage booking system that her clients would find user-friendly and intuitive.

Solution: The priority for me was to encourage the naturally self-effacing Anna to put herself front and centre so potential clients who may be intimidated by the prospect of classes would be immediately reassured by her easy-going nature. I also wanted even complete novices to Pilates to immediately find the answers to any questions the may have. We chose Momence as the online booking system because of the above qualities.

Client feedback:

“Having invested in building a small pilates studio at home, I was keen to have a website which was welcoming and stylish, and would communicate to my potential customers that I am professional and that my studio is somewhere they would like to be. I thought about building the website myself but I don’t have the design skills and even though Squarespace is a straightforward platform, I didn’t know where to begin. Ben has a unique combination of skills: as a photojournalist he understands how images and words should sit together on a page; as a web designer he understands how people interact with websites and he can make their user experience straightforward; as a person, he was very quick to understand what I wanted to achieve and I felt extremely confident in his hands. I’m very happy with my website and I’m getting very positive feedback from my clients.”
